Leadership Team
Jeff Morris – Founder & CEO
Jeff has 20+ years' experience coaching Main Line soccer players. He has coached at Villanova University, Haverford College, Radnor High School, and Harriton High School. He has also been a member of the coaching staff with the Olympic Development Program and has coached many local club teams at all ages and all levels of play. Jeff captained his team at Muhlenberg College and was a semi-professional goalkeeper in the American Soccer League.
In addition to his many years as founder & Executive Director of WCUPSA, Jeff's entrepreneurial pursuits have include the successful launch and sale of a gourmet take-out restaurant and an adventure travel business that focused largely on ski destinations in New England and the Rockies. Jeff's personal passion continues to be global travel where he has ascended some of the larger mountains in the Andes, lived with indigenous peoples and conducted soccer clinics in an array of developing countries.
Adam Correia – Chief Operating Officer
Adam rejoined World Cup Sports Academy as COO in April of 2013 after serving as Assistant Director and Director of Coaching from 2004-2008. Prior to rejoining WCUPSA, he worked for Creative Associates International in Washington, DC where he coordinated business development initiatives and was involved in the design, implementation and monitoring of international education programs in India, Cambodia, Jordan, Tajikistan and Timor-Leste.
Adam's passion for education has led him to pursue classroom teaching opportunities in places as diverse as West Philadelphia (where he taught both special needs Kindergarten and 2nd Grade) and Florence, Italy (where he taught English as a Foreign Language), and to coach young athletes in his favorite sport – soccer. Adam has held numerous coaching positions in Eastern Pennsylvania including with Radnor Soccer Club, Tredyffrin/Easttown Youth Soccer Association, the Haverford School, and Radnor High School. Adam is currently Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Haverford College (2015&16 Conference Champions, 2015 NCAA Elite 8)
Adam is a graduate of Haverford College where he played varsity soccer. He also holds a Master's Degree in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
Senior Staff
Jake Solderitsch
Jake is a highly experienced educator, soccer coach and player. He brings 9 years' coaching experience that includes club soccer coaching in both Radnor and T/E where he won two state championships. He also has coached at the collegiate level with the Haverford College men's team and holds his USSF D license. He played youth soccer locally with Radnor Soccer Club and later FC Delco. As a Radnor High School alumnus, he was a 3-year varsity player recognized as All-Central League and team MVP. He went on to be a 4-year starter and 3-year captain at Haverford College where he also won All-Centennial Conference honors, was named to the NSCAA All-Region team and won team MVP. He also has international playing experience in Edinburgh, Scotland. Jake is also a successful teacher who has taught at Germantown Friends, Penn Wood High School, and Johnson and Wales University. He has a B.A. in Philosophy from Haverford College and an M.A. in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
Diana Frosch
Diana was a two sport varsity athlete at Cabrini College (soccer and softball). As a 4 year soccer player for the Lady Cavs, she and her teammates won the division title her junior year. She brings 9 years of experience coaching youth soccer and is USSF certified. She completed a Bachelor's of Science in Education at Cabrini and currently is the Technology Teacher at Saint Anastasia School.
Tamas Kinyo
Tamas has worked extensively as a soccer coach in Eastern Pennsylvania youth soccer and in his native Hungary. As a player, he competed in various levels of the Hungarian National League, won the National Futsal Championship (when he was also named tournament MVP), and won the 1999 USASA National Championship with the United German Hungarian Club in PA. He holds a USSF A license and National Goalkeeping license.p>
Barry Harvey
Barry is an accomplished coach and player, who I think exemplifies how we are bringing high level coaching to all levels within RSC. Growing up in England, Barry played for Harlow Town FC, where as a young lad he watched his senior team reach the 4th round of the FA Cup. He moved to the US in time to become the most prolific scorer in Chichester High School history with 50 career goals and was elected to All-Delco, All-Southeastern PA, and All-State honors. He continued his career at Neumann University where he was a 4-year starter and led the team to its first ever NCAA post-season appearance. As a coach, he has assisted with Neumann University and Upper Darby High School. He is currently the Assistant Boys Varsity and Head Junior Varsity coach at Delaware County Christian School. He has worked with WCUPSA and RSC for the last 2 years.
Tim McGrath
Tim McGrath has been coaching soccer for four years. He is currently the assistant coach for the Radnor High School Boy's Varsity Soccer program, and has spent the past three years as the assistant coach for Junior Varsity. In that time he has been a coach and volunteer for the U-15 Boys and U-12 Boys teams for Radnor Soccer Club as well as contributing to RSC's goalkeeper training program. Tim played club soccer at Bloomsburg University, and is a proud alumnus of Radnor High School, where he was a four year varsity player and a member of the 2004 State Championship team. When he is not on the soccer field, he can be found at the Whole Foods in Devon where he manages the Frozen Foods Department.
Rodrigo Nogales
Rodrigo has been coaching youth soccer for five years, and currently coaches with the Radnor High School boys' varsity program of which he is a distinguished alumnus. Rodrigo's 20 years of playing experience include club soccer locally with Radnor Soccer Club and later FC Delco. Rodrigo attended and played soccer at both Washington University in St. Louis and Franklin and Marshall College.
Taylor Sims
Taylor was a 4-year standout soccer player at Immaculata University and at Radnor High School where his team won the state championship in 2004. He is currently on the training staff at Radnor High School where he has been the boys' junior varsity head coach for the past three years. He also brings 5 years coaching experience with Radnor Soccer Club in the house and travel programs. Taylor holds a USSF E Coaching License. At Immaculata, Taylor majored in History and became involved in the Duffy's Cut project, an ongoing archeological investigation based in Malvern, PA and featured in a PBS documentary that he assists to this day.
Sammy Thompson
Sammy is currently Assistant Coach of the Women's Soccer team at Cabrini College and Regional Director for Coerver Coaching. At Cabrini she was both an academic and athletic standout. As a two sport captain (soccer and softball) her achievements include: 4 time all-CSAC (soccer), NCAA All-Region 2011 (soccer), #6 all-time leading scorer (as a midfielder, soccer), 3 time all-CSAC (softball), 7 time all-CSAC academic team, and named to all-area academic team by Philly Inquirer in 2011. She is an experienced coach, having worked at the collegiate and youth levels for more than 4 years, and holds and holds an NSCAA National coaching license. She also has a pet pig named Ellie!
Johnny Walker
John Walker is a NSCAA certified coach with over 15 years of high school and youth coaching experience, 9 of those with World Cup. A graduate of Ursinus College with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and international relations, John was a 4-year letterman in both soccer and lacrosse. John currently works as a relationship manager for a private wealth management firm and enjoys spending his free time with his lovely wife and two beautiful children.
Dan Wasco
Dan has more than 30 years' coaching experience with youth soccer players of all ages, and has been working with WCUPSA for almost 10 years. After a successful career at California State University - Hayward where he was team captain and an all-conference player, he coached collegiately at Ohlone Community College in Fremont, CA - and was a staff coach with the California Youth Soccer Association North. Dan holds an EPYSA state coaching certificate and is USSF certified. In addition to soccer, he specializes in fitness training and soccer biomechanics. Dan has an M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco.
